Instant is a camera and photo decoration app provided by SleepyCatApps. Photos are processed locally. This policy also covers online purchase verification through Google Play and RevenueCat.
Photos are captured and processed on your device. The app keeps your captures, capture dates, filter and frame choices, drawings, stamps and stickers in its private local storage. Your preferences, chosen language and free photo allowance are also stored locally.
SleepyCatApps does not automatically receive these photos or records. There is no account, developer-operated cloud gallery or automatic upload.
Camera access is used for the viewfinder and taking photos when you use the camera.
Motion sensor readings are used locally for the shake-to-reveal effect and are not sent to us.
The app does not request microphone, contacts or location access.
You can manage camera permission in Android settings. Without it, taking new photos is unavailable; existing memories remain accessible.
We do not sell your photos or personal information. Instant does not upload your photos, drawings or decorations to SleepyCatApps or RevenueCat. We do not use advertising SDKs or send photo-usage analytics or crash reports. Purchase processing is described below.
Saving a photo to the system gallery or sharing it happens at your request. The destination app or service then handles the exported copy under its own policy. Sending feedback opens your email app; nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
Google Play processes the optional one-time Instant Pro purchase. RevenueCat, our purchase service provider, receives purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, purchase status, and a randomly generated app user identifier to verify purchases, restore access and provide purchase analytics. The SDK also sends app/SDK information and locale/currency information needed for this service. Purchase verification requires an internet connection and runs when the app checks purchase status, including for free users; photo processing remains local. We do not send your photos, name, email address, contacts, location or advertising identifiers to RevenueCat. Google handles your payment details; Instant does not receive your payment card information.
Purchase data is encrypted in transit. RevenueCat and Google may process it outside your country under their policies. Purchase records are retained to provide and restore Pro, handle refunds and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion of purchase-related data by emailing [email protected] with enough information to identify the purchase, such as its Google Play order ID; do not send payment card details. You control your local memories. Deleting a photo in Instant removes its app copy and associated editing records. Copies already exported or shared are separate and must be deleted in their destination.
Clearing app data or uninstalling normally removes private app data. Android or your device provider may back up or transfer app data according to your device settings; a backup may restore it later. SleepyCatApps does not operate that backup service or have access to your backups. Review your device backup settings if this matters to you.
If you email us, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to provide. We use that correspondence to respond and keep it only as needed for support and applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children through the app.
Material changes to data handling will be reflected in an updated policy and effective date. This document is available offline from Settings and the Pro screen.
